eleQtra has been selected as one of four awardees of a grant from the Smart Communities Coalition Investment Fund (“SCCIF”), an initiative to bring private sector-led innovative solutions to displaced populations and crisis-affected host communities, implemented by EnDev and with Power Africa support.

eleQtra is pleased to announce the recent signature of a grant from the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). The grant will provide crucial funding to accelerate development activities for the 100Mwh/25.6MW Pabbo Hybrid Energy Storage and Generation Project in the northern region of Uganda.

eleQtra has developed an innovative off-grid solar solution, Solar eleQtra™; with this initiative, eleQtra aims to empower people living in off-grid communities with affordable, powerful, clean solar energy.  Solar eleQtra™ is currently operating in Uganda, with planned scaling up and expansion into eleQtra’s other target markets, including Ghana and Mozambique, as well as Zambia, Benin, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal.
