Bill Fox, Vice President, Engineering & Construction
Bill Fox is has primary responsibility for hiring, developing, organizing and directing the engineering and construction effort focused on infrastructure development and in support of the project developers. He also provides the technical feasibility and analysis for existing greenfield and brown field projects including new development opportunities.
Bill also coordinates and provides oversight of ongoing construction efforts for projects up through and into commercial operations, interfacing with both owner and lenders engineer on construction activities, monitoring ongoing works for compliance to contract requirements, budget and schedule. Other responsibilities include preparing and/or coordinating the technical work scope requirements for various contracts including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design and EPC contracts and participating in the negotiations and execution of these contracts.
Bill has over 35 years experience in engineering, construction and operations in the mining, petrochemical and power industries. Bill is a registered professional engineer and holds a baccalaureate degree in Engineering Technology from Cleveland State University.
Tony Matthews, Technical director
Tony has accumulated more than 20 years’ experience in the sectors of engineering, business development, construction and asset management – primarily in the field of power generation, but also in highway modelling and design. He has worked on international projects in the UK, China, Mongolia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Zambia, Mozambique, Ghana and Cape Verde.
Previous positions include: Construction Manager for One Energy Services (a joint venture between CLP and Mitsubishi Corporation based in Hong Kong), Vice President and shareholder of Asiagen Power Group, as well as management positions at AES China Generating. He also worked on UK highway projects with Ove Arup & Partners. Tony is a UK national and has qualifications in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. He is a graduate of London South Bank University, where he received his BSc in Construction Management.
